I wrote maybe two letters to some girl named Sandy but I think the crayon may have been a turn off. I was only 10 when I marched in the Eye-Openers. I was the little snare drummer.

This brought a tears to my eyes. How heartwarming to hear Nee-Hi's were missed. I too marched in them from 1968-1975, then I joined Guardsmen from Schaumburg,Il. Another corps I would love to bring back. And also the Knights from Geneseo,Il. These corps will live on in our hearts and memories forever.By the way David....did you date my sister, Sandra from Nee-Hi's?

After being in the Knights during his corp years, my brother worked with the Nee-Hi's. His wife and sister in laws were in the corp. They played at his wedding reception.
