So, Heather McMeekan started a Knights memories note on Facebook, but I thought it'd be a good idea to get it posted here too. Feel free to respond with your own memories.
This is copied from Heather's notes with permission from Heather. (and followup notes compiled by Shane Connor)

I don't remember any prison, maybe I just blocked it out. I do remember be scared to death of the bugs down south, and certain guys getting attacked by fire ants during the morning workout. Anyway, thanks for writing that it made my day. Oh, do you remember the pool party the nice neighbors had for us in colorado? That was so fun.

I think it was a school. Are you talking about the one where they warned us not to go too close to the windows after dark?

Karl Schosser at 1:16pm February 10
I remember that being in Burmingham! That was a scary, scary school! Great random thoughts by the way. Those invovled in the pit would remember Dick and the Boys (Larry, Daryl and Daryl).

The prison was a huge building, the scary school was another lovely establishment….I remember some guy yelled 'you suck' and I yelled back 'if we suck so bad how come we're out here and you're in there!' (after which a very freaked out horn instructor told me to shut the ! up)…
and remember the toothless, scary dudes at the National Guard Armory ogling our guard members as they served lunch? Ewwww…
…and that other one up there should be 'star' dog, not 'start' dog…

…and Bob reading “A Bag of Tools” for Rookie Talent Show Night
“Isn't it strange
That princes and kings,
And clowns that caper
In sawdust rings,
And common people
Like you and me
Are builders for eternity?
Each is given a bag of tools,
A shapeless mass,
A book of rules;
And each must make-
Ere life is flown-
A stumbling block Or a steppingstone. .”
